Where Williams is talking about in literary narratives or in a persons life, whether it stays the same or shifts to a different identity of a person.

Sam’s story was very positive at the beginning, how he related to success, but then changed into a “rebel” because of his surroundings which caused his education to suffer.

Sam’s story shows how different experiences can change a persons identity, whether it be positive or negative. This all depends on the people they are around, in the end they should always try their best to overcome the situation if it be good or bad.

Hannah

Sponsor as Facilitator

Where Brandt is talking about how sponsors do not need to be a physical person but can be an influence, or a model to follow after.

Within Hannah’s story the death of her brother influenced her writing within her college essay.

Her brothers passing influenced her writing. This was able to show how anyone can be a sponsor in someones life. This is able to create, creatives pieces of writing and an experience in someones life.

Blake

Child Prodigy

Alexander talks about the child prodigy and how someone is sensational at writing and reading at a very young age.

Within Blake’s story he talked about how he was a good writer, but at the same time rushed his work and was not at his full potential. Through the help of his teacher he overcame the problem and became better than the other kids in the class.

This is able to show that building basic concepts and not every identity follows a specific guideline. His experience was different and shows that people do have what it takes to accomplish their goals, and reading and writing if the time is put in.
